a busy day on our own farm

A busy day today on our own farm at N-xt Fertilizers Templetuohy. We were applying N-xt N24+S after first cut silage @260Kg/Ha. Working in the same field was a recent addition to the fleet, a John Deere 6130R supplied by Templetuohy Farm Machinery Ltd. It is fitted with GPS and autosteer for precision application of slurry with the Abbey Machinery 7.5 metre trailing shoe. Meanwhile in the next field the trusty old 2650 was applying the 2nd spray to fodder beet, and the maize looks like it's enjoying the recent warm weather.
