A busy day today on our own farm at N-xt Fertilizers Templetuohy. We were applying N-xt N24+S after first cut silage @260Kg/Ha. Working in the same field was a recent addition to the fleet, a John Deere 6130R supplied by Templetuohy Farm Machinery Ltd. It is fitted with GPS and autosteer for precision application of slurry with the Abbey Machinery 7.5 metre trailing shoe. Meanwhile in the next field the trusty old 2650 was applying the 2nd spray to fodder beet, and the maize looks like it's enjoying the recent warm weather. Spreading in the shadow of the Devil's Bit this evening, using N-xt 20-2-0 for a customer with a low P index @ 500Kg/Ha for silage. Originally published on our Facebook page April 21st 2018. Taking advantage of the long overdue fine weather to get out some N-xt 16-3 + Boron start fertilizer for beet on Saturday morning @ 630Kg/Ha.  N-xt 20-5 + S, B & Zn start fertilizer was applied to the seedbed @630Kg/Ha before this Award maize was sown during the week, maybe a bit late but in ideal conditions. Top dressing spring barley with N-xt 20-2-0 @440Kg/Ha. Who needs tramlines when you've got auto-steer. Some pictures taken this week of a sports field that had N-xt 15-2-6 applied on May 19th. It's not hard to spot the areas the sprayer couldn't reach. Originally published on our Facebook page May 31st 2018. A customer's recent soil test results revealed very low levels of boron. As we manufacture all our fertilizers on-site in Templetuohy, we were able to supply and apply a bespoke NPK fertilizer with added boron to address the issue.
